PAW Patrol

Three promotional shorts for Nickelodeon’s PAW Patrol franchise, directed at Magnetic Dreams for Nick Jr.: Mission PAW, Sea Patrol, and Sea Patrol: The Next Wave. Working from provided scripts — and building the boards himself when none were supplied — Joël led camera layout and compositing with a small CG team of three: an asset artist, a lighting artist, and an animator, stepping in to light shots himself when the team was stretched thin. Fast turnarounds pushed him deep into Vray and cloud rendering pipelines like Zync and Rebus Farm.
